The application crashes everytime I try to open. I want my money back!

I use the app for several years and am very satisfied. It does exactly what I had bought them at the time.

I use this app very often because the not-that-smart way to name the files on my Panasonic TM-700, which use 0001, 0002 etc as name for my videos. this apps allow me to rename when the video was taken. But the interface is a bit complicated, i.e. doesnt allow you to quit directly if you dont clear the job done first, quite annoying. Other thing that could be improved is the automatic clear of those jobs, if dont you risk to rename-renamed files… but it is useful, just need a bit of love.

It would be better allowing custom date and time format or non-separete-charactor format like yyyymmdd.

I usually do this by hand and with shell scripts. Most of the batch renamers are not flexible enough to take the variety of file names I sometimes deal with. This program is different and has managed to do it all.

Has all the features youd expect plus a nice drag and drop interface. I use it for renaming photos and 3d render image sequences.

I tried FileRenamerLite before trying this one and was quite disappointed of how bad it worked. Immediately tried this one and couldnt be happier. I use it primarily for renaming Rendered Sequences and Photos, and does exactly what I need it to do. I like that I can select the different tabs as "additions" to each part of the new naming. Works great.

Not what I expected to do.

I intend to take this up with the developer. I renamed several series of photos, videos, and documents. I went looking for them with their new name and their old name, I cant find them anywhere. They were supposed to be in the same folder.

App does exactly as it says, plus more. Very happy! Works great with 10.7.3.

I was faced with a chore renaming a large number of photos before posting them on our parish website. I downloaded this application and renamed all the files in just a few minutes. It was very easy to use. Thanks for a great application. I know I will use this program frequently.

Just got this and renamed 8,300 files using a regular expression. Super awesome tool. If you put any value on your time then paying for this is a no brainer. Awesome support as well.

This product wont create subfolders, and wouldnt rename files after it renamed them once. Terrible, stupid software.

I hit a brick wall with my other renaming application around more complex replace features. I bought this application and it was able to handle the complex replaces across nearly 15,000 files in seconds. I highly recommend it.

I am able to rename all my iPhone photos as their date in the file name! This is a life saver since iPhoto wont allow you to export your pictures with the date as the filename. This works wonder and works quickly! I will certainly tackle some disorganized music folders. Much thanks!

Also, would be great to maximize the application window so I dont have to scroll so much.

I have been an PC user for YEARS. Worked on them, built, repaired and upgraded them as well. I used to have a rename program for PC that I used a lot. I LOVE my Apple computers because I can run Windows on it for programs that I couldn’t find for my Apple computer. I used to have to copy my folders to my desktop that was shared with my Windows desktop so I can use certain programs with them. Not only was this process time consuming it was a pain to do each time. I recently decided to look for an Apple program to rename file names. There were a LOT to choose from but I decided on File Rename Pro. After using it for a bit I thought, this works GREAT!!! The only thing I can see so far is if they could change the preview window to allow the user to make the preview window larger…maybe by dragging the bottom corner and stretch it larger. Other than that, THANK YOU for saving me HOURS of renaming files one by one.
